Built an MVP of a cognitive platform name “Khadim Al-Haramain Al-Sharifain“.

Objective

The objective was to facilitate Hajj operations by introducing cognitive services integrated with Hajj systems. Hence millions of Muslims who are there for Allah Rab-ul-Izat, can perform anything without disturbing their focuses and concentrations.

Functionalities

 So, the MVP of the platform was developed in 48 hours including the following functionalities;

  • Open Hajj Wallet Account for Hajjes (Within Few Minutes).
  • Pay any kind of payments through Hajj Wallet.
  • Amount Transfer to other Hajj Wallets.
  • Health Queries.
  • Room Bookings
  • Transport Bookings.
  • Check Account Balance.
  • Check mine Statement.
  • Hajj Care Services.
  • Hajj General Q&A.
  • Further, I was trying to add speaking capabilities by using Speech to Text and Text to Speech Watson Services along with Hajj Live assistant service perhaps was unable to fully integrate that.

Technologies

Technology, the platform was build using MEAN Stack in the backend by integrating the following APIs

  • Watson Assitant
  • Watson Discovery
  • Watson NLU
  • Watson Tone Analyzer
  • Watson Speech to Text
  • Watson Text to Speech

Conclusion

At the end of the Hackathon, I submitted the project to judges and also pitched the project very well. Perhaps was shocked to see when they announce the winner who was the local Saudi team who build a mobile app that can scan the barcodes over the road signs and simply translate the words or information to other languages.
Overall it was a great experience to compete with the top developers from all over the world. And finally, have the name in the Gunniess Book of World Records.
