The second meetup of Blockchain Special Interest Group was held on the first Wednesday of February 2018. A large number of participants were there from different parts of the industry. IBM Blockchain Leads along with HEC higher officials were also present.
Hashim Barraq, Manager SPINN LABS starts the meetup with a brief overview of recent activities. He describes the overwhelming response of the first meetup up and announce about some recent updates about SPINN LABS;
- Session#1: Hyperledger Framework, By Dr. Jamel and His Team
During the session, Dr. Jamil (HOD-CS and RCMS, NUST) speaks about Hyperledger Framework. His team including Mr Asad Hayat and Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Saeedi also shared the stage with him during the session.

At the end, Dr. Arshad from HEC conclude the session in his own style;
And then finally the Boss (HASH MALIK), who was with us from US Headquarter, give his remarks about the meetup and recent activities…
Then finally we had the group photo of second SIG Meetup;
We also had some free food after that;
Then we did a very long networking session in which IBM Blockchain Lead stand with us till the end…
So, that’s how we conclude our second meetup… : – )
At this point, I really want to mention our SPINN LABS team who really worked hard to organize this event at this scale, specifically Maaz Ullah Arshad, Sehrish Fatima, Ayesha Mushtaq and most importantly Hashim Barraq who truly take care of everything. I personally want to thanks Hashim for excepting my inputs and suggestions for the meetup, especially for social media handlers I really appreciate his support, as now finally we are able to show our great work to the whole world…
For me, this meetup truly captures my attention towards Blockchain, and now after this, finally I decide to take a part in Blockchain Hackathon to get some solid skills of this revolutionary platform… : – )
